Matt and crew, Max and Mike, did fantastic painting and preparation of both our house which is steel siding, and our garage of old wood boards. Their knowledge of different surfaces is absolute top notch! They definitely know what products to use when and applications needed for best results. Their attention to details is extremely meticulous! Very detail oriented! Results cannot be any better!!! House and garage look almost brand new!! Very nice people!!! Key communications often explained process and details, very easy to work with, communicated daily as to next time of arriving, consistently on time, daily updates on work plan as what would be done, thorough cleanup daily. Matt and his crew did a truly amazing job at my condo, repaired some old dry wall, removed popcorn throughout and installed a new ceiling in the kitchen. Painted the whole place. They were attentive to detail, organized, flexible, and nice to work with. They do quality work, clean, efficient, and professional. We were very pleased. Would highly recommend.

I found Ballantine Painting and Drywall by searching BBB. They had an excellent rating. I had started scrapping the popcorn ceiling in.my bathroom. Realizing the overwhelming task, I called Matt. He came to look at the project. Since he was there, I added a few other scrapping and painting projects. Fabulous job was done. I couldn't be happier. The ceilings are gorgeous the paint job is great. Nice clean lines.....I had him back a few months later to scrape, re-texture and paint my entry. The guys stayed late to finish the job in a day. Can't say enough about the professional, courteous, quality work that is done by Ballantine Drywall and Painting. I will definitely have them back in the future!

Ballantine Painting and Drywall really went the extra mile for us. After starting the job they found structural issues with the framing and they were able to fit in extra time to fix the wall and finished off out entire basement including knock-down ceiling texture. They were able to repair some additional existing walls and made the entire basement look brand new. Matt and his crew do it right, excellent workmanship, great communication habits, job started and finished when it was supposed to be started and finished. You will find contractors who will do your job cheaper and in a shorter time, but you will get cheap, and you will be calling Matt to come in and fix it. If I had a larger vocabulary I would find the proper words to praise him and his crew, especially the meticulous attention to detail Mike brings to the job.

A previous subcontractor's poor workmanship left us in a huge mess. I was very fortunate to find Ballantine Painting and Drywall on the BBB website. His positive reviews convinced me to call. Matt came out and agreed to take this project on despite having to start from square one. He and his crew showed up promptly at 7 am every day, worked hard, had great customer service, explained things, and cleaned up each day before leaving. Matt and his team went over and above when they discovered our window trim was not lying flat and the wall was bulged out. They removed the drywall to find several problems including the wrong insulation that could've caused a moisture issue and repaired everything to code. They did a great job patching the wall so that the carpenter could add new trim that actually sits flat on the wall. Mike, the painter was very meticulous and did a perfect job patching and painting the walls. Dom helped out several days and he was an equally hard worker. They all did a thorough and professional job beyond our expectations. We will be forever grateful and amazed at how they turned something so stressful and hopeless into something we can be proud of. Matt and his crew are the best in the business!
